Plays a video file on a video output.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Source | The video file |
| Output | Which video output it displays on |
| Level | Opacity, 0–100% |
| Start / end | Trim: the region of the file that plays |
| Loop | Whether it repeats, and how many times |
| Input area | The part of the picture stretched onto the output |
| Mirror | Flip horizontally and/or vertically |
| Processing | Tint, brightness, contrast, saturation |
| Audio | Whether the video’s sound plays, which audio output it goes to, and at what volume |
How it runs
Has a length: the trimmed region, times the number of passes. Seekable and fadeable. Output windows are silent, so when Audio is on the app window plays a second, hidden copy of the file and routes that to the chosen audio output.
Invalid without a file, or with no video output configured or picked.
Scripting
