Fade cue
Moves another cue’s level over a length of time.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Target cue | The cue to fade. It has to be running for anything to happen. |
| Target level | Where its level lands, 0–100% |
| Fade time | How long the move takes |
How it runs
Has a length — the fade time — and ends when the ramp lands. The running-cues panel names it as the source of the move while it runs.
Fading to 0% leaves the target running and silent, so a later fade can bring it back up. To end the target instead, use a stop cue.
Invalid without a target.
Scripting
duration only. A fade cue is over as soon as its ramp is; a script on it sees
the same clock as the ramp.
